San Diego Fires....Leads to an AMAZING Family Day

Let's rewind a little bit; Joel and Nikki cam into town for a visit because Joel had an entire week off from work (and had no school).  Needless to say, we were ALL excited to have them come, even Oliver.  They were not here very long when the fires in San Diego County started...those fires led to EVERYBODY having the day off, except for Sean.  We decided to have a slumber party the night before the day off so that we could all be together.  I was a little sad that Sean couldn't join us for our almost family day, but then all of a sudden he was home at 7:45 AM; they had evacuated his work (sad for his work, amazing for us!).  Oliver was so happy to see him, this lead to a four day weekend.  The entire family (Liz, Jeff, Joel, Nikki, Julia, Sean, Oliver, and I spent the day at the beach.  It was a sad event that occurred in San Diego, and the firefighters did an amazing job.  It is crazy to drive around the county and see how close the fires came to homes.  Those firefighters are some studs.
