Honeymoon

We have been back from our honeymoon for about 5 weeks now but we haven't had the chance to post any of the pictures yet, no excuses we are just slow. We went on a cruise of the West Caribbean and had a chance to stop in the Bahamas, Jamaica, and Grand Cayman. We had chances to lay in the sun and play with different kinds of animals.

The island in the Bahamas was the private island, so there wasn't much to do except enjoy the beach and do a few excursions. We decided to ride horses in the ocean.

Jamaica involved eating jerk chicken, jerk pork, peas and rice, and mammey. Sondra was never a big fan of Jamaican food, but this was amazing! Maybe because it was actually made by Jamaican's in Jamaica. We also had a chance to go to the largest plantation on Jamaica and was able to see a man climb a coconut tree and we also got to ride horses.

In Grand Cayman we had a lot of fun, and felt like we left a lot of friends behind. We first had the chance to go to sting ray city, where there are about 250 sting rays in one family, and had a chance to pet them, hold them, and feed them......and yes they are wild (well as wild as they can be when they have over 100 tourists a day coming to feed them by hand). We also had a chance to go snorkling at The Coral Garden and also saw Silvester Stallone's home. We thought since our old governor is friends with him that maybe next time we go we could just stay with him ;) Sean wanted to open up a bank account in grand cayman just so that he said he had even if it only had $25 in it, but we never got around to a bank.

Once we got back to Ft. Lauderdale we decided to take an adventure on the Florida everglades. It was a little cold that day so we only had a chance to see one alligator, but it was a lot of fun being able to ride in the boat. After the boat ride we were allowed to hold a baby alligator.
