Lucas Visiting San Diego

Well, it is official!  My mom has become the person that people send their kids to during the summer.  My grandparents were the ones that always got the grandkids, and it looks like she has adopted that role now.  Lucas visited my mom for about a week during the summer.  She had all kinds of things ready for him to do, but one of the things on the agenda was taking more surfing lessons from Uncle Eric.  I think if you wouodl have asked Blaze (her dog) what the plans were, he would have said  something like "play with me obviously!".  Blaze's best friend is Lucas, they would do everything together.  The day after Lucas left he went into the spare bedroom looking for Lucas, and was really sad when he realized he had left.  I sure hope more people start sending my mom their kids, because Blaze has a lot more fun when there are kids around.
